The Jamboree

From Friday afternoon to early evening, and from Saturday morning to early evening, musicians take 15-minute turns performing on the main stage inside the Aura Community Hall. Some are pros, some are first-timers, and most are somewhere in between. We focus on traditional, acoustic music, which typically includes traditional country, bluegrass, and folk music. Because of our area’s deep Finnish roots, many performers contribute Finnish folk songs, and traditional Finnish dance music.

While the inside performances are underway, many more musicians gather in small groups on the shaded grounds for impromptu jam sessions. All acoustic musicians are welcome to join in, no matter what your skill level.
